Good questions.
Straight answers.

Psalmix is music your kids will actually want to play: pop, hip-hop, country, rock and 16 more genres, all written to Christian family values. Every song is an original, so there’s no explicit version hiding behind a filter, and a real person reviews each one before it reaches your family.

Our team of Christian musicians and songwriters use AI-assisted tools to craft every track — bringing powerful lyrics and genre-spanning sound to life faster than ever. The heart behind the music is human. The technology just helps us make more of it.

AI allows us to create high-quality, mainstream-sounding music at scale while maintaining complete control over values and content. Every lyric is intentionally created to align with family values - something impossible to guarantee with licensed content.

We offer 20 genres, including Pop, Hip-Hop, Rock, Country, Electronic, R&B, Indie, Folk, Jazz, Afrobeats, Acoustic, Worship, and more. New songs added daily across all genres.

We add 500+ new songs every week across all genres and maturity levels. You will always have fresh content that sounds current.

Absolutely! Our music is designed to sound current and mainstream. Teens consistently tell us they prefer Psalmix because the production quality matches what they hear on other platforms - without the explicit content.

We categorize content by age-appropriateness: Universal (all ages), Teen (13-18), Young Adult (18-25), and Adult (25+). Each level has sophisticated themes appropriate for that age group - all with clean content.

Most Christian services offer traditional worship music. Psalmix offers current, mainstream-quality music across ALL genres (including hip-hop, EDM, pop) with values you can trust. Your teens will not feel like they are settling.

Psalmix was founded by McKinzie Bean, an entrepreneur and parent of three, who was frustrated by the lack of values-aligned music options. We are a team of parents, musicians, and technologists committed to providing quality music for families.

Songs are written clean from the first draft, so there’s nothing to filter out later. Before a song goes up, its lyrics are screened automatically, then a real person reads them and checks the cover art. If anything ever feels off to you, report it right from the player and we’ll review it.

Nothing gets filtered after the fact, because it’s never written in. That means no explicit language, no sexual or suggestive themes, no songs that glorify drugs or drinking, no violent or aggressive themes, and nothing that conflicts with Christian family values. What stays: real emotions, hard days, friendship, faith and honest life. Clean shouldn’t mean cheesy.

That’s why Psalmix exists. It was built by a Christian mom who was tired of hitting skip. There’s no explicit library hiding behind a setting your kids can switch off: every song was made for families. No skip button needed, no awkward moments.
