Our story

Built by a mom
who got tired
of hitting skip.

I wanted music my kids could love
and I could trust. So we made it.

A real person. A bigger purpose.

Hi, I’m McKinzie.

I built Psalmix because I was tired of hitting skip. As a mom, I knew my kids were listening — on the radio, on Spotify, everywhere. I wanted something better for our home. Something I could trust. Psalmix is the music I’d let my own kids listen to. Every song is personally reviewed, so you can feel confident about what’s filling their hearts.

Every song and cover image is reviewed by me and our team of Christian musicians and educators before it reaches your family. Not an algorithm — real people who care.

Mom. Songwriter. Purpose-driven.

Music with a higher standard.

What we listen for.

Every song on Psalmix is created with care and reviewed by a team of real people before it’s released. We listen for more than just clean words — we consider the whole picture.

  • Lyrics

Truthful, age-appropriate, and encouraging — real life without the harmful stuff.

  • Themes

Songs about real feelings — like identity, friendship, doubt, hope, and finding your way.

  • Artwork

Thoughtful, creative, and made for all ages — no inappropriate imagery.

Original songs. Real moments.

The sound matters, too.

Worship is a genre, not the whole shelf. Psalmix features a wide range of sounds and styles — because real life isn’t one note, and your playlist shouldn’t be either.

Listen in a different genre

Real feelings. Real life.

Real life is bigger
than a clean-
language filter.

Kids and teens are navigating so much — big emotions, real questions, friendships, pressure, identity, and what’s next. They deserve music that meets them where they are, with honesty, hope, and something better to hold on to.

Different by design.
For what matters most.

Thanks for being here.

Thanks for listening.
